Zakaria Sarvajanik Hospital was established in 1998, under the able guidance of Late Maulana Abdul Rehman Gulamnabi ( May the Mercy of Almighty Allaah descend upon his soul) under Rehmani Education Trust, which was established under The Bombay Public Charitable Trust Act 1950 vide Registration No. KHEDA/B-812.

At present, the trust is been financially supported by Mr. Rasheed Ahmed A. Tarapuri and Mr. Khalil Ahmed A. Tarapuri & their relatives, friends etc.

The main objective of Trust is to provide basic & advanced medical treatment to the minority community of the Anand city & 100 nearby villages.

Maulana aimed to help the poor and the medium class people of Anand and its suburbs by providing them the world class medical treatment at extremely low costs.

The trust has also set up at ZAKAT fund for the patients below poverty line to help them by providing Free Medical Treatment with Medicines.

During the communal riots in Feb – March 2002, affected minority families has been very effectively and efficiently by the trust due to its locational advantage.

The trust is running the madressa and Hafez Class on the top floor of the hospital to ensure that the boys of Muslim community are given adequate training in the bodily and heavenly arts.

The hospital trustees residing in Anand visit the hospital daily and provide their guidance to ensure the hospital runs smoothly on a daily basis. The Managing Trustee based in Dubai, also visit the hospital once in 2-3 months to ensure and satisfy our necessities.
